General Terms & Conditions

Snapback AB conducts auction services for domain names and websites. Snapback AB itself does not sell or own any domain names; rather, we develop an auction platform on which buyers and sellers can come together.

Snapback AB reserves the right to amend any information, including but not limited to prices, technical specifications, service, and product offers without prior notice.

Terms and Conditions of Purchase

These terms of purchase apply to the extent that Swedish or other applicable law does not prescribe conflicting terms. For private consumers, purchases are subject to the Consumer Sales Act and the Distance and Doorstep Sales Act which also provide legal protection for Snapback AB. The purchase and registration of domain names is not encompassed by either the right of the purchaser to revoke a purchase or by the Distance and Doorstep Sales Act as these are considered to be commodities of a personal character which Snapback AB is unlikely to be able to sell to another party (refer to Article 5 of the Distance and Doorstep Sales Act (SFS 2005:59). More information is available on the Swedish Consumer Agency's website, www.kov.se.

Upon bidding on a .SE domain, the customer automatically agrees to the IIS conditions of registration found here and here. Upon bidding on a .NU domain, the customer automatically agrees to the Nunames conditions for registration found here. The customer also approves of Snapback AB registering the domain on the customer's behalf through any agent of its choice.

Order

If the customer is under 18, the permission of a parent or guardian must be obtained prior to purchase. Orders placed in the name of another person without that person’s consent, or those which otherwise result in Snapback AB suffering economic loss, will be reported to the police. Snapback AB disclaims any liability stemming from typographical and informational errors, and errors in specification in all of Snapback AB’s selection of products and services. All images are for illustrative purposes only and cannot be guaranteed to render the exact appearance or characteristics. Should there be a clearance sale at the indicated price or if an object for sale becomes no longer available, Snapback AB shall be entitled to cancel the order and refund any amount paid in the most expeditious manner.

Payment

VAT is NOT included in prices listed on the site. Payment is by invoice. Snapback AB shall not be held responsible for any incorrectly posted prices. In obviously erroneous cases, Snapback AB may be forced to cancel the order and refund any amount paid in the most expeditious manner. This can be done at any time during the purchase when such errors are detected. The cause of the error must be clearly stated to the consumer with regard to the order being cancelled. The customer may not be granted access to the domain before full payment is made. If a payment is overdue, a reminder fee and late-payment interest of 20% per month applies from the due date. If payment is not received in spite of reminders, Snapback AB shall be entitled either to collect the outstanding amount through debt collection or enforcement officer, or to sell the domain to another party.

Delivery and Cancellation

Orders are processed automatically upon payment. Transfer of ownership and delivery of the AUTH code for the domain name occurs only when full payment of all the customer's unpaid invoices is received. Cancellation of the domain name is not possible once the client has placed a bid in the auction.

Termination of Membership

As a customer, you cannot terminate your membership while participating in an ongoing auction.

Liability for Errors

Snapback AB shall not be held directly or indirectly liable for incorrect spellings of the domain name, and neither shall it assume responsibility for other errors including but not limited to, incompatibility, delivery delays, downtime, data loss, additional work or other monetary losses. Customers are responsible for checking the spelling of the domain name and ensuring that it is correct BEFORE placing their bid for the domain name.

Force Majeure

Events such as war, natural disasters, strikes, government edict, lack of delivery from suppliers, and similar events beyond the control of Snapback AB, which are not reasonably foreseeable, shall be deemed force majeure, meaning that Snapback AB is released from its obligations to fulfil its contractual agreements.
